This 500Ml Organic Salt is a traditional food softener and a natural product. It’s used as a preservative and as a replacement for other salts, adding no artificial additives or colours. It is made from a banana plant and has no side effects.

Cooking Instructions

 

  • Meat Dishes: Pour 3 tablespoons over half kg of meat, fry, and let it cook to desired softness.
  • Matumbo: Apply 2 tablespoons before boiling or frying.
  • Fish: Sprinkle on before you fry. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Omena: Use 1 tablespoon after frying.
  • Chicken: After cooking for 5 minutes, sprinkle 5 tablespoons, and let it cook to desired softness.
  • Greens: Pour 4 tablespoons into sufuria, Mtoo, Saga etc. Add 3 handfuls of greens and stir to retain and enhance green color.
  • Sukuma: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons to every handful after frying.
  • Cereals: For Githeri, Beans, Green grams, Njahi, etc., use 4 tablespoons for every half kg. Cook until tender.
  • Tubers (Potatoes, Matoke etc.): For mashing, add organic salt when it starts to boil to soften the mixture.
  • Eggs: For 2 eggs, add 1 tablespoon, beat thoroughly, and fry. Makes the egg very spongy.
